Independent Consultant / Interim Manager

Duration: Project-based (up to 6 months depending on initial assessment)

This opportunity is right for you if you are looking to supplement your project-based assignments as a freelance consultant or interim manager.

This is a general job posting for potential future projects.

We are seeking results-oriented experts in Hungary and in Europe to join our network of consultants and interim managers to support our clients with short term projects or gap management activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assess overall operational effectiveness of the designated business area and conduct a feasibility analysis for a scale-up
Make relevant recommendations
Develop strategies and communicate them in an organized and trackable manner
Work collaboratively with the client and their customers and/or suppliers to ensure implementation and successful outcome of the initiatives
Lead/participate on implementation and deliver results on time
Track initiatives and report progress

Requirements

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of professional experience
Management level experience and/or technical expertise
Background in automotive or other manufacturing industries
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong record of leadership
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local language
Availability to travel in Hungary or across Europe (mobile and able to take on international assignments as well)
Limited Company or trade license, and relevant liability insurance (or willingness to set them up)
Fluency in English or German
Advantage: 2+ years of successful management consulting or interim management experience performing strategic analysis and, or operations improvement projects for one or more of the larger, well known consultancies/agencies.

Please note this is not a long term or permanent contract.

Please note that even if we are accepting applications from Europe, due to current travel restrictions we are only able to collaborate with consultants/interim managers already located in Hungary.
